"Real advice from Jason McMichael, The House Dealer, Broker Associate and Co-Leader of Connect Group at Real Broker."
Welcome to Biloxi, Mississippi
If you're looking for a coastal city with beautiful waterfront views, exciting entertainment, outstanding restaurants, boating, and year-round activities, Biloxi is one of the Mississippi Gulf Coast's most dynamic places to call home.
While many people first think of Biloxi because of its world-famous casinos, there's much more to this city than gaming. Waterfront neighborhoods, the peaceful Back Bay, beautiful beaches, excellent schools, marinas, local seafood restaurants, and a strong military presence make Biloxi one of the Coast's most diverse communities.
Whether you're searching for a full-time residence, retirement home, second home, luxury waterfront property, or investment opportunity, Biloxi offers a lifestyle that's difficult to duplicate anywhere else along the Gulf Coast.
Why Jason Recommends Biloxi
One of the reasons Jason enjoys showing homes in Biloxi is because the city offers something for almost every type of buyer.
"Most people think Biloxi is just casinos, but that's only one part of the story. Once you get beyond the entertainment district, you'll discover beautiful waterfront neighborhoods, the Back Bay, marinas, incredible restaurants, and communities where people enjoy the Coast every day without feeling like they're living in a tourist destination."
Biloxi gives buyers the opportunity to enjoy an active coastal lifestyle while still having quiet neighborhoods just minutes away.
Is Biloxi Right for You?
Biloxi is a great fit for:

Families looking for excellent schools, including highly regarded fine arts and music programs
If you're looking for a very quiet beach town with little tourism or nightlife, Biloxi may feel busier than neighboring communities during festivals and peak travel seasons.

One of the first conversations Jason has with Gulf Coast buyers is simple:
"Are you looking for entertainment, relaxation, boating, or a little bit of everything?"

Another side of Biloxi that visitors often overlook is the Back Bay, where quiet waterfront neighborhoods and beautiful homes create a completely different atmosphere from the casino district.
Jason's Weekend in Biloxi
If Jason had one day to introduce someone to Biloxi, it might look like this:
Morning: Brunch at 131 Lameuse.
Afternoon: Explore the Biloxi waterfront, marina, or take a trip to Ship Island if the weather is right.
Late Afternoon: Appetizers at Mary Mahoney's or a walk along the beach.
Evening: Dinner at Stalla or Ruth's Chris, followed by a Biloxi Shuckers game, a concert, or live entertainment at Beau Rivage or Hard Rock.
Luxury Coastal Living
Many people associate luxury living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with Pass Christian, but Biloxi offers its own unique version of upscale coastal life.
From elegant condominiums overlooking the Gulf to impressive homes along the Back Bay with private docks and boating access, Biloxi provides opportunities for buyers seeking luxury without sacrificing convenience.
Jason's Honest Opinion
"If someone tells me they don't gamble, I don't automatically cross Biloxi off the list. The casinos are a big part of the city's identity, but they're not the whole story. Some of my favorite parts of Biloxi have nothing to do with casinos at all—they're the quiet waterfront neighborhoods, the marinas, the local restaurants, and the Back Bay. It's a city with a lot more depth than people expect."
Jason's Local Perspective
"Biloxi is one of my favorite places on the Coast because it offers so many different experiences in one community. Whether you enjoy boating, baseball, great restaurants, waterfront living, or simply being close to the beach, Biloxi gives you options. My job is to help you find the part of Biloxi that fits the lifestyle you're looking for."
